What We Do

For more than two decades, Wagner Foundation has been committed to building healthier communities by investing in and accompanying organizations dedicated to health equity, economic wellbeing, and the transformative power of art and culture. Together with our partners in the US and around the world, we celebrate our shared humanity and strive for long-term solutions to some of our most complex global challenges.

Grantmaking

We take an accompaniment approach to philanthropy, which embraces a type of partnership that goes beyond simply providing funding and stepping back. We work alongside our grantee partners throughout the lifecycle of the grant, acknowledging the complex challenges they are navigating, and look to them to identify where we can provide added support as needed.
